School is cool on Halloween

Hi Evan,

What a day we had in 1B. There was a lot of excitement. All the costumes were awesome! We had a couple of Darth Vaders, a girl rodeo contestant, Indiana Jones, two girl pirates, an I-Dream-of-Genie girl, a couple of pretty neat witches, a Transformer, a camoflauge diva, SHG cheerleader, a Rainbow Brite girl, The Incredible Hulk, a pretty cat, a Ninja, a Poke-Man character that is all yellow, a couple of rock star diva girls, and a princess. Mrs. Travis was from the 1950's in her poodle skirt and I was Amelia Bedelia. It was a fun day for everyone.

In the afternoon the first graders ate Witch's Brew after graphing how many they had of spider eggs (marshmallows), bat wings (frosted flakes), vampire teeth (chocolate chips, but I should have used candy corn), and lizard eyes (M&M's). I don't suppose you'd want any, would you?

Your Aunt Cindy, I think it was, had an excellent idea. Did you deocorate your g-tube? Wouldn't that have been surprising to the hospital staff!

As always, Evan, we pray for you every single day! I hope your g-tube just gulps up all the nutrition and calories it can to help you with your strength, will, and fight.
