STL called yesterday, and Evan’s ENT appointment is now scheduled for tomorrow (4/1) instead of today. He had a bad day yesterday with not being able to keep any food down, so it’s just as well that we weren’t traveling. Hoping today will be better for him.
As a parent you’re supposed to have all the answers. You should be able to kiss the “boo-boo” and make it better. You should be able to comfort your child when they’re scared and reassure them things will be okay. We used to be able to do all those things and now we can’t. There is no greater hell on earth than not being able to protect your child.
God's words say "Do not be afraid I am with you..." and I have faith he is. I know that God is working through all of you. Our hearts remain open to a miracle.

Today’s MRI showed the tumor has continued to grow. The clinical trial chemo drugs did not work.
Numb.
It will be another three weeks before Evan will be eligible for any other trials. We'll continue to seek out all options available.
In the meantime, we’ve requested an appointment with an ENT (ear, nose & throat) specialist to deal with Evan’s breathing issues. We have an appointment in St. Louis on Wednesday to see what they can do to help with his breathing – this kid deserves a decent night’s sleep.

We're in STL and Evan just went in for his MRI. He'll have an ECHO and EKG at 1 p.m. this afternoon. Then, we'll meet with the doctor to hear the results.
Please join us in praying for positive results. Thanks.
